How can I create an account?

To start using Coinpanion, you must first open an account and then complete the verification process. We have summarised all the steps for you below:

 

Creating an account:

  1. You can create an account on our website by clicking on the "Get started now" button at the top right
  2. Enter your name, email address and a secure password
  3. If you have a promo code, you can also enter it here
  4. Accept the terms and conditions
  5. Click on register
  6. Now you can verify your account

 

Verification process:

Please make sure you have the following before you start the verification process.

  1. Stable internet connection
  2. Camera access or webcam access in the app
  3. Valid passport (front) or ID card (front and back) or driving licence (front and back).

Please note that we are not legally allowed to accept paper IDs

The verification process at Coinpanion is done in the following 3 steps: Email Verification, Phone Number Verification and Identity Verification.

  1. Email verification
    1. After registration, you will receive a verification code by email (please also check your spam folder)
    2. Enter the code into the verification field
    3. After that you can click on "Next" and verify your phone number.
  2. Phone number verification
    1. Choose your country code
    2. Enter your phone number
    3. A code will be sent to you by SMS
    4. Enter the code in the verification field and continue
  3. Identity Verification
    1. Follow the identification instructions
    2. Enter your name and personal details
    3. Upload your proof of identity and
    4. Verify your identity with the code
    5. Verify your identity with a selfie.

Creation of an account in DE:

Only for customers in Germany


You can create an account on our website by clicking the "Get started now" button at the top right.

  1. Enter your email and a secure password. (Lower and upper case letters, numbers and digits)
  2. After you have entered your email address, you will receive a confirmation code.
  3. Go to your inbox, copy and paste this code back into the app to verify your email.
  4. Verify your email
  5. Now you can verify your account

Verification process:
Please ensure the following before you start the verification process:

  • A stable internet connection
  • Camera or webcam access in the app
  • A valid passport (front) or ID card (front and back) or driving licence (front and back)

Please note that we are not legally authorised to accept paper IDs.

  1. Personal information
    • Follow the identification instructions
    • Enter your date of birth
    • Enter your full name and place of residence
    • Accept the terms and conditions and click "Continue".
    • Now you can complete your verification

  2. Identity verification
    • After registering, you can complete your verification (KYC) in the dashboard under the menu item "Portfolio"
    • Click on "Start verification"
    • To complete the verification, we need the following information.
      • Address
      • Additional information
      • Telephone number
      • Identity verification (IDNow)
